**To retrieve a lifecycle policy**

The following ``get-lifecycle-policy`` example displays details of the lifecycle policy for the specified repository in the default registry for the account. ::

    aws ecr get-lifecycle-policy \
        --repository-name "project-a/amazon-ecs-sample"
